Seafield Snippets Friday 20th February 2026

It was lovely to welcome everyone back after the February break. Many children shared stories with me this week, telling me all about their time off.

Pupil Leadership has been a focus this week, with the Rights Respecting Group meeting to discuss plans for our upcoming Rights Day, the Pupil council meeting with myself to discuss an allocated wall space to display and celebrate all their hard work and Hub groups meeting today too! The reading Hub group will be leading an assembly on Tuesday to share school plans for World Book Day. This will include the option for pupils to come to school dressed down or dressed up as a character on Friday 5th March. The poster shared was created using adobe express by our very talented Jason! I would like to thank the P3/4 learners who are meeting me regularly to prepare and plan an initiative they have brought to me, focused on raising some funds for charities. So far, the children have surveyed pupils in the school to find out which charities matter most to them and next week the group will be presenting suggested ideas to parents in the form of email communication. Watch out for this coming your way.

Overall, another busy week with lots of exciting opportunities coming up!
