Seafield Snippets - Friday 26th September

It has been a quick week with having the Monday holiday!  We’ve had a few visitors to school this week.  P2/3 welcomed the local DISCO group to share some of their learning about Seafield in days gone by and P6/7 worked with the organisation “Nil By Mouth” on some interesting activities.  You will likely hear more about these events by looking at the class blog.  Mrs Flynn held a learning event for P2/3 parents and carers, recapping on the use of Seesaw and ways to support literacy at home.  She will be continuing to run workshops for parents in the coming months so look out for more information about these.

I am going to be working across Seafield and Meldrum next week depending on the diary commitments for each school.  I will be in close contact with Mr Hamilton on the days that I am based at Meldrum and can still be contacted via the school office should anyone need to reach me.  I will share details about future arrangements for Seafield when I have more information.

Next Week

Monday – P3/4 Multisports after school club; P2/3 to have visit from Museum

Tuesday – Mrs Baird in P2/3 today

Thursday – Rights Respecting Schools Steering Group meeting at 9.30am (parents interested in being part of this group should contact Mr Hamilton); P5 – P7 Football after school club; P7 Open evening at DCHS 5.30pm – 7pm

Have a nice weekend everyone!  Lynne Egan.
