Primary 3/4 - Friday 22nd August

Primary 3/4 have had a really fun week in school. We started a new topic and will be looking at The Romans! We are getting back into our routine and have settled as a class really well.

 

Tickled Pink (things that we think went well)

• We loved completing a class maths challenge together on our smartboard.
• We loved learning about Roman Mosaics in Art. We created our own Roman soldiers using this technique!
• We really enjoyed starting our science block, we are learning about living and non-living things.
• We have also enjoyed using concrete materials to show our times tables knowledge in Numeracy.

 

Green for Growth (things we need to do to improve our learning)

• Every morning we start with a word jumble challenge as a short literacy task. We enjoy this but sometimes it can be a little bit tricky. We are going to continue to work on this and be resilient in our learning!

 

Our school value award winners for this week are Struan and Harley.
