P3/4 - Friday 2nd May
Tickled Pink
- We had a fantastic time at the Riverside Transport Museum this week. We had a workshop about ships that were built on the River Clyde. We had to hunt for clues in the exhibits and then had the chance to craft our own ships later on. After lunch we were able to explore the fascinating museum which was brilliant. Huge thank you to Mrs Craig and Miss Love for coming with us.
- In literacy, we have been learning to clarify words and phrases to help us to understand the text better. We played some games and used Giglets to help us.
- We enjoyed doing some drama in class where we pretended to live in a village that was over run by porridge! It was fun pretending to wade through the sticky porridge and trying to persuade others to taste it.
Green for Growth
- We have been practising our subtraction skills this week where we need to keep remembering to use our strategies and concrete materials to help us.
The lead learners this week are Leon and Georgia.
