P5/6 Friday 21st March

Tickled Pink:

• Our P6’s took part in a badminton festival this week and had a lot of fun!
• Thank you to everyone who attended our family breakfast this week. We enjoyed showing our families the rich numeracy tasks that we have been working on in class.
• We have been working on narrative writing and finished writing up our Sci-Fi narrative stories this week. We have been enjoying exploring how to write different genres.

Green for growth:

• We were working on finding fractions of a quantity this week. We found it a little difficult so we made sure we took our time looking at lots of examples to help us understand.
• We have been working on debating in literacy and need to keep working on making sure only one person is speaking at a time, that we are listening to each other and ensuring that our disagree responses are respectful.

Our lead learners this week are Jason and Abi.
