P5/6 Friday 14th March

Tickled Pink:

• We have been creating backgrounds for our fairytale story to present to the nursery. We have had to use our measuring skills to help us. We can’t wait to share the stories we have been creating with the nursery children.
• We worked on a rich task in maths about creating and working out a timetable. We also had to work out how long the journeys took. We found it difficult to start of with but we took our time and were successful with the task.
• We created underwater scopes this week out of plastic bottles, cellotape and cling film. We used these scopes when we went down to the River Almond during outdoor learning to see what we could spot in the river.

Green for Growth:

• We need to keep working on listening and following instructions in P.E.
