Primary 6/7 - Friday 6th November
We discussed our week and decided that we would like to share these thoughts about our learning:
Tickled Pink (things that we feel went well):
- We started working on recount texts in Writing and wrote about sporting events we had previously participated in.
- During our Learning Innovators hub time, we discussed our thoughts on learning and teaching and the most effective lessons. We will now use this to help us create surveys for the other pupils in the school to complete.
- During our Spanish high school transition lesson we learned about Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and we really enjoyed creating skull designs afterwards.
- In Maths most of us felt confident about rounding numbers to 100, 1000, 10,000 and 100,000.
- Some of us explored our My World of Work profiles and updated our goals.
- The Break Time clubs with Mrs Robertson have been fun because we have been playing handball with people from different classes.
- The boys who represented the school at the football event at Inveralmond High School did a great job and were very pleased to draw one game and win two.
- We also feel that in class we have been listening better and being more organised.
Green for Growth (things that we need to do to improve our learning)
- Some of us felt that we need to do more to improve the work we are doing in our Learning Innovators learning hub.
- A few of us are still finding the conversion work in Maths between imperial and metric measurements tricky.
Our school value award winners for this week are Sebastian and Kellan. Congratulations!
Have a lovely weekend!
