Primary 3/4 - Friday 30th October
It’s been great to see everyone back after the October break! We have enjoyed getting started with our new Fill Your Bucket topic and have had lots of fun taking part in some seasonal and Halloween activities. It has been wonderful to see the children showing creativity, enthusiasm and kindness throughout the week.
Tickled Pink (things that went well):
- We enjoyed some Halloween and autumn-themed maths, including code-breaking challenges and practising addition and subtraction through chimney sums.
- We designed and created our very own buckets as part of the launch of our new Fill Your Bucket topic.
- We had great fun dressing up for Scare Away Hunger and seeing everyone’s fantastic costumes.
- We loved the silly trick surprises from other teachers, especially the visits from Mrs Thomas and Miss Halliday, which gave us lots of laughs!
Green for Growth (things that we need to do to improve our learning):
- As we settle back into our routines, we will remember to put our water bottles at the hydration station each morning.
- We will also work on keeping our tables in their correct places and looking after our classroom environment.
Our Lead Learners this week are Eadie for being Kind and Ollie for being Respectful. Well done to you both!
Have a lovely weekend, and we look forward to another week of learning and filling our buckets with kindness, positivity and friendship!
