Seafield Snippets Friday 16th October 2026
We have had a wonderful week filled with learning, celebration and opportunities to come together as a school community.
Throughout the week, we continued to have a focus on Anti-Bullying by celebrating diversity and promoting kindness, respect and inclusion. As part of our learning, classes took part in a range of activities linked to Show Racism the Red Card, helping children explore the importance of fairness, equality and treating everyone with respect. It was fantastic to see so many pupils and staff wearing red or dressing down to help conclude the week and show their support for this important message.
We also took time to celebrate the many achievements and successes that happen both within and beyond our school doors. From classroom learning and sporting achievements to hobbies, clubs and community activities, our children continue to demonstrate the qualities of Scotland’s Four Capacities. We are proud to see so many pupils growing as Successful Learners, Confident Individuals, Responsible Citizens and Effective Contributors.
A huge thank you also goes to our parents and carers for your support during our recent Parents’ Evenings. The strong partnership between home and school plays a vital role in children’s progress and wellbeing, and we appreciate the commitment you continue to show towards your child’s learning journey.
This week also saw our school community come together for our Harvest Assembly, where we reflected on the importance of being thankful for what we have, helping others and supporting those in need.
After the break, we are looking forward to another busy and purposeful week. We will be collecting items for our local Partnership Pantry, and on Friday 30th October we will be holding our We Scare Hunger event. We hope our families will support this initiative by sending in a pantry donation and helping us make a positive difference to others in our local community. Children are welcome to dress down or come in fancy dress if they wish. To help keep our school a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone, please avoid masks and costumes that may be frightening or unsettling to others.
Thank you once again for your continued support. We wish all of our families a lovely holiday and look forward to welcoming everyone back after the break.
Kind Regards
Mrs S Page
