Primary 3/4 - Friday 16th October

Primary 3/4 have had a fantastic final week of term and we are incredibly proud of all the hard work and effort the children have shown this term. We have loved learning through our Space topic and would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who brought in space-themed crafts and creations from home. I have shared some photographs of these wonderful projects and have been so impressed by the creativity on display!

Tickled Pink (things that went well):

  • We have continued to improve our transitions between lessons and activities, helping us make the most of our learning time.
  • We earned our reward for filling our class star jar and enjoyed bringing in a favourite toy for some free play time.
  • Our mental maths work has been going really well, and we can see growing confidence in the children’s number skills and problem-solving.

Green for Growth (things that we need to do to improve our learning):

  • We will continue to practise listening carefully and not shouting out when others are talking.
  • We will remember that toys should stay at home unless it is a special reward day, and focus on our learning during class time.

Our Lead Learners this week are Zaynab for being Ambitious and Olivia for being Responsible. Well done!

A huge well done to all of Primary 3/4 for a wonderful first term. I hope everyone has a restful and enjoyable October holiday, and I look forward to seeing you all back refreshed and ready for another exciting term of learning!
