Primary 6/7 - Friday 25th September
Primary 6/7 have had a fantastic week with lots of interesting and engaging learning activities in class. On Friday morning, we discussed our week in school and decided that we would like to share these thoughts about our learning this week:
Tickled Pink (things that we feel went well):
- We all enjoyed our PE session with Mrs Robertson this week as we started to focus on skills related to basketball
- We all really enjoyed making apple crumble and learning how to prepare and make food as well as focusing on where food contents originate from
- Most of us feel that we are making good progress with our topic presentations that we are researching and creating for our class assembly in two weeks
- We felt that we made good progress in our Maths work on place value with decimal numbers which will also help us with our Mental Maths
- We enjoyed our golf lesson in PE with Mr Hamilton and lots of us are making good progress with our swings and shots
- We felt that we focused well on our Writing task this week and most of us were able to complete the work and we enjoyed writing a description of a favourite person
- Some of us feel that we are making some good progress in class with improving our focus on school values and gradually becoming more responsible
Green for Growth (things that we need to do to improve our learning)
- Some of us were a little concerned about some people not being responsible and respectful during the basketball PE lesson
- Some of us found some parts of making our apple crumble a little difficult, especially peeling and preparing the apples
Our school value award winners for this week are Ellie Mae and Jason. Congratulations!
Well done for a great week, P6/7. Have a lovely weekend.
