Friday 11th September 2026 Seafield Snippets

It has been another great week in school, with our final two Learning Breakfasts taking place for parents and carers of our Primary 3/4 and Primary 6/7 classes.

These sessions have provided a valuable opportunity for families to come into school, hear about our school improvement priorities, and spend time working alongside their children. We would like to thank all parents and carers who attended throughout the programme. Your support and engagement are greatly appreciated and help strengthen the partnership between home and school. Those who noted they would like further conversations, will be contacted within the next week or so.

This week has also seen an exciting development in pupil leadership. All classes have now put forward the names of pupils who are interested in joining the Pupil Council for this session. We have been delighted by the level of enthusiasm shown across the school, with many pupils expressing an interest in taking on this important role.

We are looking forward to working with our pupils to develop an approach that allows as many children as possible to be involved in shaping school life. It is wonderful to see so many learners share their ideas, represent their peers, and make a positive contribution to our school community.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make this such a successful week. We look forward to sharing further updates.
