Primary 6/7 - Friday 28th August

Primary 6/7 have had a wonderful week with lots of interesting and engaging learning activities in class. On Friday morning, we discussed our week in school and decided that we would like to share these thoughts about our learning this week:

Tickled Pink (things that we feel went well):

  • We really enjoyed our PE session with Mrs Robertson playing the Heroes and Villains game and we felt that there was good focus and concentration from the class
  • We felt that the start of our Spelling lessons went well this week and everyone worked hard on the spelling patterns and tasks
  • We are feeling very positive about our Maths assessment this week, as everyone focused well on the tasks and tried their best
  • Our comprehension task linked to one of the chapters from our wonderful class novel, “Where the World Turns Wild”, went very well as most people were concentrating on adding more depth and detail to their answers
  • We really enjoyed the Edinburgh Fringe comprehension task that we were working on with Mrs Baird
  • We all had fun during the session that we had in PE with a visitor to school learning about the skills needed for American Football

Green for Growth (things that we need to do to improve our learning)

  • We enjoyed our golf session in PE but were a little frustrated that some people didn’t focus or concentrate properly
  • Overall, we felt that some of focus on our school values in class during this week needs to improve

Our school value award winners for this week are Fatoumata and Ben. Congratulations!

Well done for a fantastic week, P6/7. Have a lovely weekend.
