Primary 6/7 - Friday 19th June
Primary 6/7 have had a wonderful week in school with lots of excellent Health Week activities. On Friday morning, we discussed our week in school and decided that we would like to share these thoughts about our learning this week:
Tickled Pink (things that we feel went well):
- We all really enjoyed our visit from Therapets during Health Week and meeting the lovely dogs, Poppy and Aria
- We all enjoyed our bowling session at Seafield Bowling Club because we were learning how to bowl and playing fun games and it was lovely to get some time outdoors
- We all enjoyed our football session during Health Week with coach Steven as we learned various skills and movements and saw some of his incredible skills and nutmegs
- We loved taking part in the Xcite athletics session as the races and other activities were great fun
- We really enjoyed taking part in the cheerleading session with one of our lovely parents and we enjoyed making our own ‘starbursts’
- We were all delighted to have dress down for the full week due to Health Week activities and also getting to wear our clothes showing our support for Scotland at the World Cup on Friday
- P6s and P7s enjoyed their budding sessions this week with the nursery children and P1s
- We all enjoyed our basketball session with Xcite during Health Week too
Green for Growth (things that we need to do to improve our learning)
- Some people felt that we need to make some improvements with singing and dialogue during our P7 Leavers’ Assembly rehearsals
- Some of the children felt that it was hard to have enough space in the hall for the basketball session with Xcite.
Our school value award winners for this week are Amelia and Faith. Massive congratulations to them!
Well done P6/7 for a fabulous week in school. Have a lovely weekend and see you all next week.
