Seafield Snippets Friday 6th June 2026

We were very pleased to welcome our new Primary 1 pupils for a lunch visit, giving them a chance to meet staff and sample the school menu. It was also wonderful to meet with their parents and carers at our meeting on Monday. These early connections are so important, and we look forward to supporting our newest learners as they begin their journey with us.

Our Primary 7 pupils who attended Deans Community High School information evening spoke very positively. Many of them had a fantastic time at the recent event and are eagerly anticipating receiving  their transition next week after receiving their timetables. It’s an exciting time as they prepare for the move to Deans Community High School. Mr Hamilton will travel with pupils to Deans on Tuesday and then return to Seafield once everyone is settled.

Primary 5/6 had a fantastic day out at the Five Sisters Zoo. It has been lovely to hear all about their experiences and to see the photos capturing such a memorable trip. These opportunities offer great learning beyond the classroom and create lasting memories for our pupils.

We also held our Rights Validation meeting this week, which went very smoothly. A huge thank you goes to our pupils, parents, and staff for all the hard work, enthusiasm, and commitment that made this possible. Your efforts are truly appreciated and make a real difference to our school community.
