This week the Rights Respecting Steering group have been working incredibly hard. We are very proud of the work and preparation that is going into preparing evidence for our upcoming Rights Respecting Schools award visit. The children across the school have shown great dedication, enthusiasm, and a genuine commitment to understanding and demonstrating what the Rights mean for them as individuals.
Today the children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in their Hub groups. These sessions have provided valuable opportunities for them to reflect on and evaluate the actions and initiatives carried out across the school this year. They have engaged thoughtfully in discussions, sharing their ideas, celebrating successes, and considering how they can continue to make positive contributions to our school community. We look forward to sharing these successes when we share our standards and quality report.
It has been wonderful to see the children embedding values language into conversations and below you can find our associated values actions, demonstrated expertly by a pupil group. Many thanks to this group for creating this video:
Values Raffle Ticket winners this week were P2/3, fantastic news, well done!
Milkshake Monday – I look forward to seeing Lead Learners at Milkshake Monday when we return from the weekend – this celebration will be a larger group than normal, as some children have still to come along, due to May Monday holidays! Don’t worry I’ll be sure to stock up on treats this weekend to share with you all on Monday!
