Primary 6/7 - Friday 15th May
Primary 6/7 have had a wonderful week with many of the activities we discussed about our week related to school camp and the fun we had at Ford Castle. On Friday morning, we discussed our week and decided that we would like to share these thoughts about this week:
Tickled Pink (things that we feel went well):
- Lots of us enjoyed the Trapeze activity at school camp because it was a lot of fun and very enjoyable
- Many of us enjoyed the “Passport Around the World” quiz activity at camp because it was active and we were able to share our knowledge of different countries around the world
- The children who went to the Cluster Football event on Friday morning really enjoyed it as they felt that everyone played well. and as well as scoring some very good goals we defended well and made some great saves
- Lots of us enjoyed the Aeroball activity at camp, especially the dodgeball version of this activity
- Our children who weren’t at school camp really enjoyed the art activities during the early part of the week and enjoyed the printing, moulding clay, etc
- Some of us enjoyed the Problem Solving activity at camp especially because we learned a new song about fizzy drinks!
- Lots of us enjoyed the Laser Tag activity and the Zip Line activity too as they were lots of fun
Green for Growth (things that we need to do to improve our learning)
- Some people found the Jacob’s Ladder activity a wee bit tricky at camp, especially the group who suffered hail and rain showers when they were doing it
- Some of us found “Passport to the World” a little frustrating when we couldn’t find one of two of the countries that we were asked to discover
Our school value award winners for this week are Isla and Matthew. Our school value award winners for last week were Noel and Zac. Massive congratulations to all of them!
Well done P6/7 for a wonderful week. Have a lovely long weekend and see you all on Tuesday.
