Seafield Snippets - Friday 20th June
I hope this finds everyone well. How warm is it today?! We have all been finding it warm in school so classes have been mixing up spending time inside with heading out to the field. P7 continue to practise for their Leavers assembly which takes place next week and are looking forward to sharing it with their families.
End of year reports have been sent home this week. ELC children who haven’t received theirs should ask staff for this next week. School reports should be in school bags today.
We have a lot going on next week and are looking forward to the buzz that we will be around the school as the children get excited for the summer break. We hope to see high levels of attendance next week so that children can enjoy all of the fun activities that are taking place.
Monday – Break the Rules afternoon for school pupils (see poster attached) Please note that children can come to school in their “normal” clothes for the whole day, we don’t expect them to change at lunchtime. If your child is bringing a toy or game, we would advise that it isn’t their favourite thing in case it gets broken and also for you to put your child’s name on items where possible. No electronics please. This event is a treat for the children to celebrate our school achieving both the Digital Schools Award and Silver Reading Schools accreditation this year. Thank you to the staff who led these activities and to children and families for their input.
5pm – P7 Deer Park trip. School staff will be at Deer Park to meet pupils at 5pm. Children should be collected between 6.20 and 6.30pm.
Tuesday – Moving on afternoon. Children will have the opportunity to visit new classrooms today.
Wednesday – P7 Leavers Assembly 2pm start.
Thursday – P6/7 trip to Jupiter Artland. Nursery leavers celebration takes place at 2.30pm today.
Friday – Last day of school term. Children can have a non-uniform day. P7 pupils can bring in an item of school clothing to be signed by friends if they wish.
