Seafield Snippets - Friday 10th October

Today in Seafield PS, we took part in activities linked to World Mental Health Day.  Our Health and Wellbeing Mini Champs visited classes to spread important messages about how to look after our wellbeing.  The champions told classes about our new health and wellbeing mascot which each class will get the chance to look after at some point in the coming weeks!

Our P5 pupils took part in a swimming assessment at Xcite Whitburn yesterday which was exciting.  P6/7 continue to prepare for their assembly which they will perform for parents and carers next Friday.  Our 2 older classes also had a visit from PC Henderson yesterday who talked to the children about important safety issues and reinforced the message of being responsible citizens in school and in the community.

A reminder that we have our parent consultations next week.  You are able to book online until Sunday, please search junk folders for the email from groupcall which contains the link for you to do this.  If you require to make or change your appointment beyond Sunday, you will need to contact the school office directly.  We also have our termly achievement assembly next week, all submissions to be received by end of day on Wednesday 15th.  A reminder that if you are sending a photograph, this should be of your own child only.  Please note that parents/carers don’t attend these assemblies.

Tuesday – P7 group to take part in Bikeability session (bikes and helmets required)

Wednesday – Harvest Assembly (no donations required, these will be collected at our Seafield Scares Hunger day instead);  Parent Consultations 3.30 – 6.00pm

Thursday – P6 learn to swim assessment,  pupils should bring swimming clothes and a towel (long hair to be tied up); P7 group to take part in Bikeability session; Parent Consultations 3.30 – 6.00pm   No football club today, this will restart next term, look out for an email with sign up detail  s
