Seafield Snippets - Friday 3rd October 2025
We’ve had another busy week here at Seafield PS! P2/3 enjoyed a visit from Museum services to look at toys and games from days gone by. The children really enjoyed exploring some of the “old” toys. P6/7 took part in an Adobe Express lesson linked to Black History month. Today, we took part in our 2nd P4 – P7 Hub groups session where each group continued to work on tasks that feature on their action plans. P1 – P3 took part in a skills session where they worked in groups to develop some of the meta skills that we learn about in school.
The Rights Respecting Schools steering group had their first meeting of the year yesterday and had a productive session. The pupils in the group selected a new Right of the Fortnight which was shared with you by email.
As per the letter sent earlier, please look out for the email from the groupcall system later tonight to make your bookings for the upcoming parent consultations.
There is no update on when Mrs Page will be able to start at Seafield PS so things remain the same for now. I hope to be able to update you with dates for her starting next week.
Hopefully this stormy weather doesn’t last all weekend and that everyone stays safe! Lynne Egan.
