Primary 3/4 - Friday 3rd October

We have had a really fun week in Primary 3/4! We particularly liked doing our Hub groups this morning and working with the rest of the school.

Tickled Pink (things that we feel went well)

  • We think that we are getting better at rounding in Numeracy. We have been practising very hard this week and remembering our rhymes to help us.
  • We have also really enjoyed doing Music on a Thursday. We have been learning about rhythm and beats.
  • In Science this week we were focusing on predators and prey. We really enjoyed discussing what this means and what examples we know already.
  • In Art we have been working on sketching. We have been enjoying using different techniques in our work. This is something that we want to keep working on.

Green for Growth (things that we need to do to improve our learning)

  • Some of us are still finding some areas in Maths tricky however we are definitely seeing improvements!
  • Some of us feel that during our class novel, some people are not doing their best listening. This is something we are going to focus on.
  • We also would like to keep working on our spelling, especially in our writing. We are going to work on using our strategies to help us.

Our value award winners for this week are Murren for being respectful and Oliver for being kind!

Have a lovely weekend Primary 3/4 and I’ll see you on Monday!
