Seafield Snippets - Thursday 18th September
I can’t quite believe that we are already at the September weekend although I think you can feel a change in the air, particularly in the mornings. On this note, we would please again ask that all children wear or bring a coat/jacket to school going forward. This will allow us to continue to be outdoors as much as possible. Our outdoor learning sessions will continue as long as there are no safety issues with the weather (high winds/slippy surfaces) so please make sure that on your child’s outdoor learning day, they come to school equipped for outdoors. If you require any assistance to make sure your child is able to take part, please contact me and school can provide support in a confidential and sensitive way.
Please find attached information about Xcite West Lothian’s Outdoor programme which they are running over the October holiday. https://online.flippingbook.com/view/989489272/
A reminder that the school is closed on Friday 19th and Monday 22nd September. The ELC remains open for normal hours. If your ELC child will not be attending for their usual sessions, please telephone the nursery on either the main number or the nursery mobile. Please do not send an email or groupcall text as these communication channels will not be accessed until return on Tuesday. I hope that everyone enjoys the long weekend and look forward to seeing the children and staff back on Tuesday!
Kind regards, Lynne Egan.
