Investigation work has been ongoing into the impact of the council's education network as a result of the criminal attack.

Seafield Snippets - Friday 13th June

This week has been all about the “big” transitions as we sent our P7 pupils off to have a few days in their secondary schools and also welcomed our incoming P1 for a visit to their classroom!  Our P7 have come back excited about the days that they spent in Deans Community High School and ready to get stuck into pulling together their Leavers Assembly which will be shared with their families during the final week of term. We had our current P1 class assembly this morning and our youngest school learners did a brilliant job of performing for their families.  They were confident and sang well and everyone left with a smile on their face!  We also managed to hold our nursery sports today although the weather did force us inside part way through.  The children finished off their events in the school hall but still managed to have a great time!

Thank to everyone who attended our Sharing our Learning sessions on Wednesday.  As always, there is a nice buzz around the school when these sessions take place and we look forward to continuing to offer these next year.

We have a relatively quiet week next week in school as staff use the time to complete any outstanding pieces of work and round off the topics that classes have been working on in recent weeks before a more relaxed and fun week in the last week of term.  We hope to be able to send out end of year reports towards the end of next week and will let you know when to look out for these in school bags.

Wishing everyone a nice weekend when it arrives, Lynne Egan.

Wednesday 18th – 2nd P5/6 bikeability group have their final session today.
